	STORY/THEORIES Welcome Home was an American children's television program created and produced by The Playfellow Workshop, which served as the studio’s only production. Supposedly its first episode aired on October 11th, 1969 and was broadcast onto an unknown channel until it’s last estimated air date sometime in 1974. Wally Darling is the friendliest neighbor in Welcome Home, perhaps even the best painter too. With a smile like his it’s hard to disagree! Always eager to make new friends and show them around the neighborhood, Wally is happy to lend a helping hand. But you knew that already, didn’t you? Welcome Home is an ongoing internet horror story created by Clown, with only a tiny fraction of the story revealed thus far. An old family friendly tv series starring a colourful cast of puppet characters from the early 1970s has all but faded from memory, save for a single website archiving the various artworks, character sketches, and merchandise sent to them by a mysterious benefactor. This journal is purely for silly fun RP purposes and is not connected to Clown's story/ARG. Wally Darling is friendly, curious, helpful, artistic, and dumb as a brick. No thoughts, head empty, the lights are on but nobody's Home. He likes apples! Cakes! But to look at, to hold them. If you ate apples, or baked them into a pie, where did they go? How strange. Wally means well, definitely only has good intentions. He loves his friends, his neighbourhood. He loves Home. Home is his Best Friend. For this RP journal, I am only scratching the surface of the barely scratched surface of the story thus far, and it is a WIP. Thoughts, plots, and characterization are subject to change as the story does. For now, until more is revealed, I will be using the following theories for Wally's story and personality: 1. Wally is aware of us, the viewers, and the world outside the tv show. 2. Wally is too dumb to fully understand what Outside is. 3. Wally is the one sending series memorabillia to the website archivists in an attempt to be remembered and adored once again. 4. Home is the malevolent entity responsible for the disappearances, possibly also altering/erasing Wally's memory in order to prevent him from escaping to the Outside. 5. Wally's darker/distorted/scopophobia-ified moments are when those lines between reality and unreality blur, often out of fear of being alone and desperation to be everyone's favourite. 6. Wally just wants to be your friend, neighbour.
